Melissani Cave

Melissani Cave is a cave that has very beautiful scenery. The cave is located on the island of Kefalonia, northwest of Sami, about 5 km SE Agia Efthymia, NW NE of Argostoli and Poros, Greece.

The cave was rediscovered in 1951 by Giannis Petrocheilos. And inside there are beautiful views, so be a place of tourism by local and foreign tourists. The lake is surrounded by trees and forests. Cave has a blue sky and the lake is covered with stones on the bottom. Plants are in the cave. The color of the cement stone in the honey-like chocolate is at the door of the cave. So you do not miss to visit this cave.
