Library Hotel - A Unique in New York City

The Library Hotel is a boutique hotel in New York city and located near the New York Public Library. It is a ten floor hotel, with each floor dedicated to a category of reading, and each bedroom to a specific theme. You have the liberty to choose your reading matter from romance to astrology and relax. The Hotel was designed by architect Stephen B. Jacobs.


The Library Hotel is a unique New York City getaway which was designed to feel like a private club. The Library Hotel in New York City is the first hotel to arrange guestroom floors, room art and reading material according to the Dewy Decimal System of book classification. Each of the 60 rooms have a small complement of books and decorations that accompany the theme, with 6000 books overall throughout the hotel.


Other distinctive features Library guests have at their disposal include the Writers Den a beautiful mahogany paneled room with working fireplace and The Poetry Garden, our sparkling greenhouse. It is just a unique hotel.
